In Mayo the wind blew only 70 km per hour. Of course we hid all the stuff inside. And we waited for the worst. People called us from 60 miles away telling us the winds have already broken electric cables, lines, and they do not have electricity. When the storm reached mayo it was all over the wind weakened and nothing happened to us. They announce the next hurricane for a week. Met Eireann says Storm Brian 'is nothing to worry about' as second storm to pass through Ireland. I hope next storm will quietly pass Mayo. Stay safe folks
